I just wanted to leave a message to say how much I love this VN. The artwork, music, writing and characters are all on point. 

I grew up in a small cornish seaside town and to find a story in that setting really makes it hit very close to home sometimes in uncomfortable ways. The feeling of being stuck, of everything closing and going away (both places and people) and of Ryes anxiety. I just wanted to say you really made something special. 

Also I've never seen emmet used in a VN before so that was fun :) 

I'm maybe 20-25 minutes into reading this, and I already have to absolutely commend the stylization of this novel! The music, the sprites, the character icons, the backgrounds, everything is absolutely stellar!

I can't wait to continue reading this tomorrow, keep up the good work!

Powerful in more ways than one. The writing, the art, the music, and the characters, Dawntide is, in my opinion, the best ongoing furry visual novel. I love it so much. 

Ouch. That hurt. It's so good and emotional, it made me feel a tightness on my chest in the end, something I never got from any game. The soundtrack just makes it better, brings it to another level really. Awesome vn, I'm already very much excited for the next chapters. Awesome work.

The most beautiful VN I've ever laid my eyes on, filled with prose that evokes emotion and vividness. It's as beautiful as the art style this VN is made with. The music is just as entrancing too. Thank you for your work, and I hope you continue to write this amazing story.

Peak. Love it. I set the menu music as my wake-up alarm giving me a Dawntide vibe every morning.

This is one of the best FVNs I have ever read. The art style is charming and unique, the music is emotional and well timed (the main menu music should be given a Grammy), and finally, the writing is phenomenal and grounded, culminating in powerful punch-to-the-gut moments that make this novel so memorable.

Thank you author and anyone else for you time and effort in creating such an outstanding piece of literature that may not reach a very broad audience, but has a profound effect on those who choose to experience it.

Dawntide has been close to my heart for quite a while now, and I have no intention of departing from it. The characters, the atmosphere—all of it makes me feel enamored and integrated with the story it wishes to tell. It means the world to me.

So... you have three shadows in the form of the MC, that I'm guessing are his internal narration or his inner voices when he thinks about something, like his reactions

One has the pose of his mother (the one where he puts his hands on his chest), another of his father (looking at the camera with rays coming from the back), and the third is the artist side of him

so... what ARE the first two? the mother pose is his sentimental side? and his father pose is his pragmatic side? 

Edit: I forgot about this one but there's a fourth that looks like Riley looking up with a moon on his back, I'm not even sure what this one is either, his impulsive side?.
If I ever see my own comment again, those are Ward Veil Exile and Core.

why does riley see the figures of both eliza, his archnemesis, and graham, his recent fuckbuddy, in the glass in one of the screenshots? do they hold the same net significance to him? should i kill myself?

A wonderful visual novel

The pretty and clean art style, the sweet characters, the writing which I've had to go through translator in hand as it's quite complex for someone not born into such a distinctive English port setting (or English speaking either), and the music... don't get me started about that.

I truly can't wait to experience more of this

OH MY GOD. literally never played an fvn before, never knew that was a genre lol, but this is the most beautiful, artisitic, damn near tear-drawingly relatable thing i've ever played. its great, made me laugh so far, made me almost cry so far and i'm not even finished yet, aaaamaaaazing work!! :D

So fucking captivating. Got me invested right off the bat through it's setting and just how raw it felt, written from true experience. I feel like I'm interacting with something too personal even. When a creative shows their soul like this how can I look away. The banter between the friends flows so naturally. The creative and sound design are just stunning. The love put into the project seeps through my screen and manifests into virtual hands that have me in a headlock.
I'm from a small balkan port town yet I feel like I'm back at home waiting for things to go south and ugly w a fake smile enjoying the few things left to. This is a love letter to all queer young adults left feeling lost and stranded. Who's home suffocates instead of nurture.

ALSO CAN WE APPRECIATE THE COLORFUL VOCAB???? This is such a fun read in all aspects. Can't wait to follow the journey of the dev
